Vs-films is the first qualitative festival for very short films that do not exceed ten minutes in length. It includes competitions for feature films, documentaries, and animation.

At the VS-Films Festival, we are passionate about bringing your stories to life through the very short films.

Whether you’re a seasoned industry professional or a budding filmmaker ready to be discovered, VS-Films offers the stage for expressing yourself in 2 to 10 minute films. You can enter in the Open or Junior category for school-aged students.

There is no doubt that “Vs-films – very short films” have become part of this required development in the world of cinema, despite the difficulty of this type of film due to the very short period that controls what the writer and director present in their film.

We hope that this festival will play a vital role in consolidating and developing the industry of this type of film, which we called «Momental Movies» after we saw the importance of classifying this type of film as an independent genre in the world of cinema after we saw how this type swept the entire world through electronic platforms and social media.

We dream of allowing talents the freedom to pursue their passion now, instead of waiting for the long-traveled road to a degree. Rather than suffer the boredom of a minimum wage gig, what if students could continue learning and growing in a career pathway while still in education period? Through internships, students gain valuable skills and business experience that will give them a huge competitive edge when applying for future professional jobs. What else is amazing? We are simultaneously serving our community with their media needs.

Vs-films Festival will take place in Egypt, Suez Governorate, Ain Sokhna. East of Cairo you will find the breathtaking El Sokhna.
